Cre8ive art
This artwork is titled Dripping Giraffe. The reason that I created this is to work with color. I wanted to see how well I could mix colors. I used cool colors on the left and they mixed with the warm colors on the right. I also thought that it needed something in the background, so I thought of a dripping image. I made two dripping images, one with colored pencils and one with paint. I asked Molly, Sydney, and Megan on which one I should use. They all agreed on the paint because it looks more realistic and waxy. The way I made this artwork was pretty fun. First I started out with drawing a giraffe. Then I had to use the colored pencils to mix the colors. Then I cut the giraffe out and stuck it on the paper with the painting. The reason I took risks in this artwork was because I had to mix the colors and it was not easy and it was hard putting a color in the right place. I was just experimenting with color.

First of all, the picture is amazing. I'm sure you are going to take it home, but if you don't I would love to hang it in my room.
